Agrinos steps up U.S. presence, establishes R&D facility and office in Davis, California and corporate functions in Dallas, Texas

Davis, California/Dallas, Texas — July 16, 2014 — Agrinos (Norwegian OTC: AGRI), a global leader in biological solutions for agricultural productivity, today announced that it will step up its U.S. presence by moving several corporate functions from Oslo, Norway to Davis, California and Dallas, Texas. In addition, the company is opening a new research and development office and facility in Davis during the fall of 2014.

Commenting on the events, Agrinos’ newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, D. Ry Wagner said: “Agrinos is well positioned within the biologicals segment with its microbial products and is currently experiencing growth in the U.S. as well its other core markets. We want to support the promising development by strengthening our research and development efforts and by consolidating several corporate functions. Going into 2015, Agrinos will position critical functions in our growth strategy, such as global R&D and several support functions, in the Americas. This should enable us to collaborate efficiently, both internally and externally, within the U.S. market as well as with our very important markets outside of the U.S.”

The Davis, California location will see an expansion of Agrinos’ research and development activities with the build-up of a global research and development facility in newly renovated laboratory space expected to be completed by October 2014.

“The creation of our office and research facilities in Davis underscores the importance of this region as a hub for agricultural biotechnology companies and we look forward to our continued growth and development within this very active research community”, said Kathy Swords, Vice President R&D Strategy at Agrinos.

While the transition of corporate functions from Oslo, Norway to the U.S. will take place during the remainder of the year and into 2015, Agrinos AS continues as the parent company listed on the Norwegian OTC market, and the Oslo office will continue as the corporate hub for leading Agrinos’ commercial operations in Europe and Asia.
